Hello, everyone!

We are so excited to welcome you into Spring Quarter 2024!

For those of you who are TRiO students, welcome back! We know this is going to be your quarter, and we can’t wait to continue to be with you on your academic journey. Don’t forget to schedule an appointment with your advisor this quarter!

For those of you who are curious about TRiO–TRiO is a place where you can connect with students who share a similar background as a first-generation student (first in the family to earn a bachelor’s degree), low-income student, and/or a student with disabilities. It is a place where you can receive both intensive academic services like tutoring, advising, and coaching while having a space you can call home. Our students excel in our program. They graduate. They transfer. They succeed. If that sounds like your cup of tea (or coffee or water), come drop by our office to learn more about us.

Please take the Student Services Feedback Survey so we can learn more about how to best serve you.

Our workshops cover many technical topics that can be addressed in a one-hour session: Financial Literacy, Applying for Scholarships, etc.

Each quarter, TRiO host large events to bring the TRiO students together to promote community and relationship-building. University Campus Visits and Cultural Enrichment Activities

Each quarter, TRiO visits a university within our state so that participants can speak with admission officers, learn about the college campus, and build meaningful connections with other TRiO students. Some quarters also will include enrichment trips to museums and locations to expose our students to rich cultural experiences in our region.

TRiO students who wish to take on leadership roles to support TRiO, are encouraged to consider volunteering as a TRiO Student Ambassador to gain essential leadership skills and to give back to the TRiO community.
