We have two TRIO programs at Highline College!

TRIO Student Support Services (SSS)

TRIO SSS is a federally funded program for current college students (which can include Running Start, international students, and undocumented students) that provides low-income, first generation college students and students with disabilities the valuable support and services that will assist in student success and persistence towards graduation. TRIO serves to provide integrated academic services to foster student achievement and success.

  • Students who can commit to actively participating in weekly to quarterly programming requirements and activities (meeting with their TRIO Advisor, attending TRIO workshops/events, enrolling in TRIO classes, etc.)
  • Students who seek robust guidance, mentorship and support from the TRIO program and staff
  • Students who want to actively participate in a rich learning community of TRIO staff and students who will encourage you, support you, and hold you accountable for the goals you laid out for yourself.

TRIO Talent Search (TS)

Participants receive additional support, services and resources to enhance their educational experience and meet their educational and career goals. The program is free for eligible students admitted into the program.
