How much time does it take to participate in the TRiO program?

During the first year in TRiO, TRiO students must meet with their TRiO Advisor at least once per quarter and participate in at least one TRiO activity or event per quarter. We also recommend our students visit and utilize our TRiO Center for studying and to access resources and services provided by the program. This all equates to about an average of 5 hours a quarter in the program. The average TRiO student, however, spends around 11 hours active in TRiO per quarter. Important note: the more time you spend in TRiO investing in your education, the more successful you’ll be. Lastly, depending on your needs, your TRiO Advisor will develop a plan catered to meet your needs.
